Manage and coordinate sea freight shipments from start to completion.
Ensure all customer requirements are met, with accurate and precise documentation.
Maintain full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures.
Execute assigned tasks accurately by monitoring costs, timelines, and service quality.
Prepare and process import documentation and declarations in a timely manner (e.g. HB/L, MBL, manifests, pre-alerts), including customs declarations and TradeNet operations.
Perform general shipping duties, including system data entry and record maintenance.
Coordinate and resolve shipment-related issues efficiently.
Communicate effectively with customers, shipping lines, transport teams, trucking partners, warehouses, and overseas offices to ensure smooth shipment pickup and delivery.
Keep customers updated on shipment status and ensure all documentation remains accurate.
Ensure timely billing and collection of charges from consignees or their agents.
Handle all transactions accurately, completely, and within required timelines.
Follow up with CFS warehouses and overseas offices on any discrepancies such as short-landed or damaged cargo.
Respond to customer inquiries and handle complaints professionally.
Prepare payment vouchers, verify vendor costs, close shipment files, and maintain proper documentation filing.
Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
Liaise with multiple stakeholders including customers, warehouses, carriers, depots, trucking providers, insurers, and customs authorities based on shipment requirements.
