Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Development
- Develop and maintain ILS documentation, including:
- User manuals
- Maintenance manuals
- Technical handbooks
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Translate engineering inputs into clear, structured documentation
ILS & Lifecycle Support
- Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities such as:
- Maintenance planning
- Spares and provisioning documentation
- Reliability and maintainability documentation
- Ensure documentation supports full system lifecycle (deployment → maintenance → decommissioning)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Engineers (mechanical, electrical, software)
- Project Managers
- Operations / Maintenance teams
- Gather technical inputs and validate documentation accuracy
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure documentation complies with:
- Customer requirements (e.g. defence/government projects)
- Internal standards and formats
- Regulatory or contractual requirements
- Maintain version control and document traceability
Document Management
- Manage document repositories and ensure:
- Proper versioning
- Timely updates
- Accessibility for stakeholders
- Support audits and reviews when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in ILS documentation.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to understand and simplify engineering concepts.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
