Job Summary
Plan and implement ICT programmes aligned with school and Authority curriculum objectives to enhance digital literacy and computational skills among students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute ICT programmes aligned with school and Authority curriculum objectives to improve student learning outcomes in digital literacy and computational skills
- Deliver targeted ICT training sessions for students focusing on Scratch coding, digital literacy, and computational thinking to build foundational technology skills
- Design and facilitate ICT awareness and upskilling workshops for staff to enhance their proficiency in educational technologies and digital tools
- Manage and maintain school ICT systems, website, and social media platforms to ensure reliable access and effective communication with stakeholders
- Coordinate and support ICT-related projects including photography, videography, and video editing to enrich school digital content and engagement
- Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of computer labs, iPad carts, and other digital devices to support teaching and learning activities effectively
- Conduct research on emerging educational technologies and provide actionable recommendations to inform ICT strategy and adoption within the school
- Monitor student attendance, discipline, and well-being during ICT training sessions to maintain a safe and productive learning environment
- Perform ICT administrative tasks including data reporting to support school operational requirements and compliance with policies
- Ensure adherence to MOE policies and ICT standards to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold best practices in ICT management
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate ICT tools effectively into teaching and learning processes to enhance educational delivery and student engagement
- Execute additional ICT-related duties as assigned to support school ICT objectives and initiatives
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in Scratch coding (mandatory)
- Diploma or higher in a relevant discipline (candidates with relevant experience may apply)
- Knowledge of Matatalab and Micro:bit
- Skilled in photography using Digital SLR cameras and photo editing software (e.g., Photoshop)
- Experienced in videography and video editing
- Familiarity with Google applications (e.g., Google Drive, Forms, Google Classroom) and Apple Classroom
- Basic ICT troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge or experience in robotics
- Preferably at least 1 year of working experience in a local school environment
