Responsibilities: Bridging Defense and Deployment
Secure Technical Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert in pre-sales and post-sales, designing network architectures that prioritize Zero Trust principles and hardware-level resiliency.
Applied Cryptography & Hardening: Evaluate and deploy emerging cryptography technologies (PKI, HSMs, or encrypted transport protocols) to secure data-in-transit and data-at-rest across client sites.
Resilience-Focused Life Cycle: Lead project planning and system implementation with a focus on hardened system migrations, preventive maintenance of security appliances, and detailed technical documentation.
SecOps & Data Center Field Operations: Manage on-site security for Data Centers and IT environments. This includes securing the physical-to-digital handoff for servers, switches, and high-security helpdesk escalations.
Infrastructure Rollouts: Execute the installation and burn-in testing of secure IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for capacity planning that accounts for the performance overhead of security encryption and monitoring tools.
Vendor & Compliance Liaison: Coordinate with external vendors to ensure hardware and software deliveries meet strict industrial compliance standards (e.g., ensuring no gray-market components or unpatched firmware).
Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Cyber/Network Security.
Domain Expertise: Proven background in at least one core security domain, with a heavy emphasis on Network Security, Firewall Orchestration, or Cryptographic Implementation. Familiarity with endpoint protection (e.g., Trend Micro) in a networked environment is a plus.
Network & Server Mastery: . Networking: Hands-on experience in the secure configuration of Switches and VLAN segmentation to isolate critical traffic.
Systems: Technical proficiency in hardening and configuring AIX/Solaris/Linux or Windows Server environments.
Field Engineering Skillset: Demonstrated experience in the physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network/server hardware in diverse environments (Data Centers, remote offices, or industrial sites).
Strategic Awareness: A deep curiosity for emerging threats (e.g., Quantum-resistant cryptography, AI-driven network attacks) and a commitment to industry best practices like CIS Benchmarks or NIST frameworks.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to stakeholders clearly.
