Configure, manage, and secure firewalls, routers, switches, and security groups across on-premises and AWS environments to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
Monitor and maintain network security posture, including protection of internal systems and external integrations against cyber threats.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents related to network access, vulnerabilities, unauthorized activities, and performance risks.
Implement security patches, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation for network devices and virtual security appliances.
Enforce security controls such as access management, network segmentation, and secure connectivity standards.
Maintain up-to-date security documentation, including network diagrams, IP address inventories, risk logs, and change records.
Monitor bandwidth utilization and network activity to detect anomalies, potential threats, or policy violations.
Support security audits, compliance assessments, and risk reviews by providing required documentation and remediation actions.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to strengthen overall ICT security architecture.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience configuring and securing firewalls, routers, and switches in on-premises and AWS environments.
Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals and network security principles.
Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in diagnosing security and connectivity issues.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, access controls, and security hardening techniques.
Experience supporting audits, compliance, or governance requirements is an advantage.
