We are seeking an ICT Infrastructure Operations Engineer with strong technical expertise across multiple domains and technologies. You will be responsible for delivering enterprise-level infrastructure services and supporting new initiatives to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver enterprise-level infrastructure services (network, servers, backup systems, desktop) to clients.
- Manage data center and server room operations by overseeing network infrastructure and critical components.
- Oversee infrastructure monitoring and maintenance, coordinating with service providers to resolve issues and implement changes.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including budgeting, drafting specifications, vendor selection, and invoice verification.
- Prepare budget forecasts and track expenditure utilization.
- Act as the point of contact for infrastructure matters on new projects and initiatives.
- Support application system infrastructure services by collaborating with service consultants, users, and vendors.
- Execute initiatives and enhancements that maximize the innovative use of network and server technologies.
- Collaborate with team leads and service providers to plan, manage, and deliver infrastructure service projects that improve service quality and user satisfaction.
- Work with central ICT infrastructure teams to design solutions that align with current and future requirements.
- Participate in architecture review and governance processes to ensure operational sustainability and resiliency requirements are met.
- Perform any ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Must be Singaporean or PR
- 3-5 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise ICT infrastructure services.
- Proven experience in ICT infrastructure management, including data centre operations, vendor management, networking, and infrastructure concepts.
- Familiarity with Singapore government IT infrastructure and processes is an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of network and server technologies, with supporting expertise in infrastructure security.
