Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design ICA systems, including control panels, SCADA systems, PLCs, and field instrumentation.
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for ICA components.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of ICA systems on-site.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
  • Integrate instrumentation and control systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Configure and program PLCs, SCADA, and other automation systems.
  • Provide ongoing support for ICA systems, including maintenance and upgrades.
  • Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and training sessions for clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all ICA systems meet quality standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in PLC programming, SCADA systems) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
  • Experience with SCADA systems, HMI design, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
  • Knowledge of instrumentation devices such as sensors, actuators, and flow meters.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for designing control panels and wiring diagrams.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles for industrial control systems.
