Our GEM Asia Trading team are looking to hire a Vice President level trader for Indian Rupee (INR) denominated rates products based in Singapore In the role, you will be responsible for market-making INR related Options and as part of our expanding franchise in coordination with our SG / global Sales & Trading. You will be coordinating with our local and global Sales & Trading team(s) to service clients across the globe

Your key responsibilities:


As a Market maker for the FX and Rates INR options desk, you will need to:

  • Price and risk manage fx and rates option rfq's/queries
  • Suggest structures/complex solutions for resolving client ask's
  • Leverage on your experience to identify new product and client segments to grow the INR franchise
  • Able to understand and interpret market trends and identify, communicate, and market trade ideas
  • Present research results in written and verbal format to colleagues and clients in order to lead to risk management decision making; a proven track-record in revenue generation
  • Apply advanced statistical approaches to solve the problem of implementing relative value risk management

Your skills and experience:


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Regulatory & Capital Impact: Minimum 6 years of handson experience applying FRTB, Basel III/IV, IMM and local regulatory frameworks to pricing, structuring, and booking decisions, with demonstrable ability to measure RWA, capital usage, and pertrade profitability impacts, including crossborder flows.
  • CrossAsset Structuring Expertise: 35 years experience with primary depth in Rates and FX exotics, including handson structuring and pricing, complemented by working knowledge of credit and Rates/FX flow products and their P&L, risk, and lifecycle dynamics.
  • ETrading & Workflow Optimization: 35 years of practical exposure to electronic trading and distribution platforms (e.g., MKT X, Bloomberg, Tradeweb) and the use of MIS, analytics, and execution tools to deliver measurable improvements in execution quality, hit rates, revenues, or client penetration.
  • Commercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problems
  • Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely
  • Team Player
