HVAC Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated HVAC Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of a growing team of engineers to assist in the design and supply of HVAC systems for offshore oil platforms and vessels from design, construction, installation to commissioning. The position involves broad and direct exposure to many engineering disciplines in a fast-paced and exciting industry.

HVAC Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

The primary role will be a mix of project management, engineering design, and coordination of client/vendor interfaces. Day-to-day tasks will include (but not be limited to):

. Develop HVAC system designs and prepare detailed design drawings in concert with the project team.

. Design HVAC systems through drawings, calculations, diagrams, equipment selection and other documentation.

. Research and recommend parts including costs.

. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for procurement including vendor management and other supporting documentation.

. Coordinate with clients and support installation during the installation phase.

. Provide input to the project planning process, assesses the time required for project engineering and detailed design tasks.

. Assist in the preparation of quotations.

Requirements:

. Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

. Min 3 years related experience.

. Excellent 2D design skills (3D will be a plus).

. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.

. A willingness to travel for work will be considered an asset.

. Applicants must be a Singapore citizen or PR.

. Strong customer management & problem-solving skills.
