HVAC Design Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities

. Involved in all mechanical engineering designs, calculations, preparing bill of materials, and liaise with customers and suppliers for any engineering query.

. Involved in design and construction document preparation and submissions.

. Involved in technical review and clarifications with customers and suppliers.

. Involved in coordination of design with other engineering disciplines.

. Involved in construction, installation, testing and commission activities.

. Involve in identifying the Company scope of work in the project.

. Involve in solving technical issues that arise in the project.

. Involve in monitoring the progress of the document submission.

. Some drafting scope and also guide drafters for drafting

Job Requirements

. Good team player. Can work with others harmoniously.

. Willing to learn new activities.

. Good communication skills in English both written & spoken.

. Must know basic mechanical design knowledge.

. Know how to do HVAC cooling capacity calculation, pressure drop calculation, ducting sizing.

. Know how to do duct installation and HVAC installation.

. Know how to do piping and instrumentation diagram (PID), Air flow diagram and ducting and Instrumentation diagram (DID).

. Must know basic pipe sizing, selection and pipe installation knowledge.

. Must know basic fire suppression knowledge.

. Must know how to operated and draw in AutoCAD.

. Must know how to operate MS office (minimum Word and Excel).

. Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
