About the Role

Our client, a financial services organization, is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to support the optimization and scaling of their HR infrastructure. A key priority for this role will be leading the identification, selection, and implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The successful candidate will bring strong project management expertise, a deep understanding of HR operations, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to deliver a seamless, compliant, and efficient implementation while enhancing overall HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end selection and implementation of a new ATS, including requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, system configuration, testing, and rollout
  • Act as project lead for HR operations initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholders, risks, and deliverables
  • Optimize and manage core HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and HR administration
  • Oversee HR systems and tools (HRIS, payroll, benefits platforms), ensuring data integrity and process efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies, particularly within a financial services environment
  • Develop, document, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and standard operating processes
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure system alignment and integration
  • Manage benefits administration and support employee inquiries with a high level of service
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and risk management initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of HR experience with a strong focus on HR operations and systems
  • Proven experience leading HR system implementations, ideally including ATS selection and rollout
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management
  • Solid understanding of HR compliance and regulatory requirements within financial services or similarly regulated environments
  • Experience managing HRIS platforms, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR or project management certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party system providers
