Job Description

About AVPN

AVPN is a unique funders network committed to building a vibrant and high-impact social investment community across Asia. AVPN's mission is to catalyse the movement toward a more strategic, collaborative, and outcome-focused approach to social investing, ensuring that resources are deployed as effectively as possible to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.

About the Role

This is a strategic-doer role that balances thinking, designing, influencing, and hands-on execution, aligned with AVPN's scale, pace, and growth aspirations. The HR Manager South East Asia role offers a unique opportunity for a People & Culture professional who wants to build, shape, and strengthen an organisation at a pivotal stage of growth. Rather than simply maintaining existing systems, this role focuses on creating, institutionalising, and elevating HR practices. You will lead and enable the full HR ecosystem end-to-end - spanning recruitment, talent and leadership development, performance, culture, total rewards, engagement, and future workforce readiness. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you will design strategy and directly execute critical initiatives, build scalable systems, solve real organisational challenges, and experience visible impact across teams. The role provides meaningful ownership, visibility, and influence, working closely with senior leadership while engaging closely with employees across levels. You will gain regional exposure, strengthen leadership capability, build a culture of trust and belonging, and contribute to positive social impact across Asia. Above all, joining AVPN means contributing to purposeful work while helping build a people-first organisation.
