As a Senior/HR Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and driving HR excellence within the firm. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will be entrusted with the full spectrum of HR functions - acting as a trusted partner to both staff and management.
This is a dynamic role where you will not only manage core HR operations but also contribute to building a collaborative, high‑performing workplace culture.
Responsibilities
HR Database & Records Management
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and databases.
- Prepare HR reports and management information documents.
- Administer the leave portal and other HR systems.
- Organize and update personnel filing systems.
- Maintain and update the firm's organization chart to reflect structural changes and reporting lines.
Staff Benefits Administration
- Manage staff benefits, insurance programmes, and HR-related events.
Payroll
- Prepare and administer monthly payroll and generate payroll reports.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate shortlisting, and staff appointments.
- Conduct onboarding, orientation, and induction programmes.
- Track and administer probationary review processes.
Performance Management
- Support annual performance appraisal exercises and consolidate performance ratings.
- Assist in annual salary and bonus review processes.
Internship & Trainee Management
- Oversee recruitment and administration of interns and trainees.
- Support trainees in completing required submissions on legal regulatory portals.
- Coordinate onboarding, training schedules, and performance tracking for interns and trainees.
Secondment Management
- Oversee secondment arrangements, including visa/work permit applications, travel logistics, medical check-ups, insurance coverage, housing, and related matters.
Policies & Procedures
- Assist in reviewing, maintaining, and developing HR policies and procedures.
Employee Separation
- Manage staff exits, including conducting exit interviews and administering resignation/termination documentation.
Employee Engagement & Firm-wide Activities
- Plan, administer, and execute employee engagement programmes to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Organize and manage firm-wide activities and events, ensuring smooth coordination and high participation.
Qualifications
- A Degree, Diploma, or Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management or Business Management is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of HR generalist experience.
- Prior experience in a professional services environment (100–200 headcount); exposure to the legal industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors, e‑Litigation, and LSRA platforms is advantageous, particularly in supporting HR processes within a legal services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labour legislation.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
