Job summary:
As a key member of the HR team, you will ensure the seamless continuity of HR operations during a period of maternity leave. Your primary focus is the accurate execution of monthly payroll across Singapore, Taiwan, India, and Indonesia, while maintaining high standards in Learning & Development (L&D) and Employee Relations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Regions Payroll & Compliance
- Regional Payroll Management: Execute monthly payroll for Singapore, Taiwan, India, and Indonesia, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and social security contributions (e.g., CPF in Singapore, BPJS in Indonesia).
- Government Claims: Process and submit statutory claims for Childcare, Maternity, Paternity, and NS Leave to the respective government bodies.
- HRIS Integrity: Act as the gatekeeper for employee data, to validate and update information.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- You will be the first point of contact for new talent during this cover period.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the hiring funnel-from posting roles and screening candidates to ensuring all selections comply with the Employment Act and Fair Employment Practices.
- Orientation Excellence: Conduct formal inductions for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the company culture and understand their benefits from day one.
- Documentation: Prepare all legal employment letters, including appointments, confirmations, promotions, increments, and transfers.
3. Learning & Development (L&D)
- Your role is to ensure that the professional growth of the staff doesn't stall while the permanent executive is away.
- Program Coordination: Organize and monitor scheduled training programs, managing the logistics of both internal and external sessions.
- Feedback Loops: Administer pre- and post-training evaluations to measure program effectiveness and ROI.
- Records Management: Maintain meticulous logs of employee competencies, career development milestones, and training hours.
4. Employee Relations & Administration
- Serve as the go-to person for employee queries regarding policies, leave entitlements, and workplace relations.
- Sustainability & Resource Management: Monitor the use of department resources to minimize waste, aligning with the company's environmental goals.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Support the wider HR team on any ongoing regional projects, budget preparation or annual audits.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Business Management.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Critical for Excel-based payroll calculation.
- Able to thrive in dynamic work environment.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with different stakeholders including headquarter in China.
- Team player with good initiative, keen to learn with a can-do attitude.
- Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organizational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
