About the Team:

The People team plays a crucial organisational role in Shopee by channeling important resources to key functions in the company. People are key to Shopee's growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.

Job Description

  • Analyse current and future business needs and recommend new initiatives and processes to ensure continuous improvements in team's objectives, productivity and development
  • Partner with leaders and line managers to provide thought and solutions in day-to-day people matters and long-term organisation plans in the following domains: recruitment planning, career planning, talent management, learning and development, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, recognition programs, and strategic development
  • Ensure high level of employee engagement through effective monitoring of the pulse of the employees
  • Manage complex HR initiatives at both hands-on and strategic levels to deliver best-in-class HR programs
  • Managing employee relations and performance-related discussions and challenges with relevant teams and leaders
  • Champion and incorporate our culture and values in all aspects of our work

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field; A master's degree is advantageous but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time working experience in Human Resources, with experience in one or more HR functions such as Human Resources Business Partnering (HRBP), Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Workforce Planning, Organisational Development
  • Strategic thinking: Quickly evaluates situations, combines strong business judgement and people intuition to reach well-founded decisions
  • Able to work at pace while maintaining appropriate attention to detail and standards
  • Proactive and collaborative
