Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day HR and administrative functions for the hospital project.
  • Handle the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, transfer, confirmation, promotion, resignation and cessation.
  • Manage work pass matters, including Work Permit, S Pass, Employment Pass and Dependant's Pass applications, renewals and cancellations with the relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases and manpower reports.
  • Monitor employee work pass validity, medical examinations, insurance coverage and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters of appointment, confirmation letters, salary adjustment letters, employment certificates and other HR-related documents.
  • Administer monthly payroll and ensure accurate processing of salaries, allowances, deductions and statutory contributions.
  • Maintain and update employee attendance, leave and overtime records.
  • Administer employee benefits, insurance, medical claims and other welfare matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws, MOM requirements and company HR policies.
  • Assist with statutory submissions and government-related matters, including CPF, levy, tax clearance and employee-related claims.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site personnel, subcontractors and external agencies on HR and manpower matters.
  • Assist in employee relations, disciplinary matters and workplace-related issues.
  • Maintain proper and confidential filing of personnel and HR records.
  • Provide HR support during audits, inspections and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the construction, engineering or large-scale project environment.
  • Experience in handling foreign worker manpower and Singapore workpass matters will be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MOM regulations and Singapore employment practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems and SAGE Payroll systems will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Good knowledge of payroll processing, leave administration and statutory contributions.
  • Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees, management, government authorities and external parties.
  • Able to work independently and handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple HR matters within deadlines.
  • Experience supporting HR functions in a project/site-based environment will bean advantage.
