Brief Description:

City Sprouts is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to support our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR administration while supporting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
  • Assist in drafting HR letters including employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and interns.
  • Support payroll preparation and ensure proper documentation for salary processing.
  • Handle leave administration and maintain attendance records.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore employment regulations and company policies.
  • Support management with HR reporting and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant HR experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment practices and HR administration.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team culture.
  • Interest in sustainability, education, or community-driven initiatives is a plus.
