Job Description

Company Overview

The client is a polymer additives multinational manufacturing company located in Jurong, specializing in chemical additives for industrial applications.

Job Summary

Manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, work pass processing, payroll, employee relations, training coordination, and HR reporting to support organizational effectiveness and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities including scheduling interviews and managing onboarding processes to ensure smooth candidate integration
  • Process Work Permit, S Pass, and Employment Pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with MOM regulations
  • Execute monthly payroll processing and prepare statutory submissions such as CPF and IRAS accurately and timely
  • Administer employee leave, medical, and dental claims to maintain accurate benefits records
  • Organize employee training sessions, manage course registrations, and maintain comprehensive training records
  • Monitor employee confirmation, contract renewals, and disciplinary actions to uphold HR policies
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Prepare monthly HR and headcount reports to support management decision-making
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits to provide clear and consistent communication
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company events to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Perform general HR and administrative duties as assigned to support overall HR operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant HR experience
  • Knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, CPF Act, and MOM regulations
  • Experience in payroll processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective employee interactions
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to multitask to manage multiple HR processes efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Positive attitude with a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
