Job Description

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Executive will partner with various internal and external stakeholders to support the full spectrum of HR functions for Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home, delivering first-line HR advisory and coordination across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning, engagement, and HR reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes to ensure smooth staffing transitions
  • Maintain and update recruitment and onboarding trackers to provide timely information to hiring managers
  • Advise employees and managers on HR policies, employee benefits, leave administration, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Administer HR records and update HRIS accurately to maintain complete employee data
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and support disciplinary and grievance procedures to uphold workplace harmony
  • Coordinate staff learning, development programmes, and employee engagement initiatives to enhance workforce capability and morale
  • Support performance management cycle administration, including goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and appraisal follow-ups with departments
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports for management review
  • Participate in HR improvement projects and initiatives to enhance HR processes and employee experience
  • Support cross-functional events and committees such as engagement and workplace safety and health as needed

Preferred Competencies And Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related discipline
  • IHRP certification (IHRP-CP) is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in healthcare or community care settings
  • Good knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proactive, meticulous team player capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure
  • Have a passion to serve in nursing home environments
