Company Overview

We are a reputable construction company based in Singapore, with a focus on delivering high-quality residential, commercial and industrial building projects across the nation. Committed to professionalism, safety and team collaboration, we are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our dynamic team, supporting the full spectrum of human resources operations for our construction workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes for construction roles (e.g., site workers, technicians, supervisors) - including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, offer extension and onboarding follow-up.
  2. Manage employee personnel records (digital and physical) in compliance with Singapore's MOM and employment laws ensure timely update of personal information, employment contracts and attendance records.
  3. Support daily HR administrative tasks: prepare HR documents (letters of appointment, leave forms, salary slips), process employee leave/overtime applications, and coordinate staff attendance tracking for on-site and office teams.
  4. Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including induction for new hires, completion of MOM required forms, and exit formalities.
  5. Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g., MOM, recruitment agencies, training providers) for HR-related matters such as work pass applications, mandatory construction industry training and compliance checks.
  6. Support the HR team in organizing company events, training sessions and employee engagement activities maintain positive employee relations across all departments.

    Job Requirements

    Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related fields (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

    Basic knowledge of Singapore's employment laws, MOM regulations, work pass processes (e.g., S Pass, Work Permit) and construction industry HR practices is a plus.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - strong Excel skills for data entry and record keeping are essential.

    Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction work environment.

    Good verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory) basic Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with multi-lingual construction workforce.

    Proactive, responsible, with a strong service mindset and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
