We are a reputable construction company based in Singapore, with a focus on delivering high-quality residential, commercial and industrial building projects across the nation. Committed to professionalism, safety and team collaboration, we are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our dynamic team, supporting the full spectrum of human resources operations for our construction workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes for construction roles (e.g., site workers, technicians, supervisors) - including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, offer extension and onboarding follow-up.
- Manage employee personnel records (digital and physical) in compliance with Singapore's MOM and employment laws ensure timely update of personal information, employment contracts and attendance records.
- Support daily HR administrative tasks: prepare HR documents (letters of appointment, leave forms, salary slips), process employee leave/overtime applications, and coordinate staff attendance tracking for on-site and office teams.
- Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including induction for new hires, completion of MOM required forms, and exit formalities.
- Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g., MOM, recruitment agencies, training providers) for HR-related matters such as work pass applications, mandatory construction industry training and compliance checks.
- Support the HR team in organizing company events, training sessions and employee engagement activities maintain positive employee relations across all departments.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related fields (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Basic knowledge of Singapore's employment laws, MOM regulations, work pass processes (e.g., S Pass, Work Permit) and construction industry HR practices is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - strong Excel skills for data entry and record keeping are essential.
Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction work environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory) basic Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with multi-lingual construction workforce.
