Develop and implement & refine Health, Safety, Security and Environment policies for the organization, with in-depth understanding of the end-to-end business operating environment and challenges
Familiar with all relevant procedural requirements and local WSH laws, ensuring the business remains compliant at all times, eg. compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage & influence senior internal stakeholders and external government agencies
Analytical mindset, with the ability to perform thorough & detailed incident investigations drawing data from various data sources including non-traditional sources such as ops data
Manage health, safety and security monitoring systems and policies in the workplace
Implement, manage and maintain our Integrated Management System to ISO 9, 14 and 45K standards
Manage the Health, Safety and Security team, inhouse and outsourced security supplier
Manage the training procedures, and implement policies to ensure workers are provided with sufficient instruction, training and supervision so that they can work safely.
Develop and maintain security plans, business continuity plans and crisis management plans, and policies and procedures, in accordance with best practices and ensure their implementation
Work alongside other operational units & HR on a regular basis to update, discuss and align on all HSSE related matters & work with stakeholders to ensure we meet operational targets in a safe manner
Job Requirements:
Degree qualifications in physical sciences, engineering, logistics or occupational safety & health from an established institution
5+ in a logistics, manufacturing or engineering industry
3+ years in a senior WSH leadership capacity such as a WSH Assistant Manager or Manager
Registered workplace safety & health officer with a valid license to be maintained through your employment (MOM)
