YOUR ROLE
Accountable and responsible for all HSE aspects in the site operations
Ensuring all CEVA policies around HSE (Health, Safety and Environment Policies are executed and maintained during the operations
Report directly to the HSE Manager and dotted line to Contract Manager of the account of the business function.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead and direct staff in daily activities to ensure smooth and efficient handling of all HSE requirements for the site
- Work closely with the customer's (ASM) and CEVA Operations teams to plan and implement commonly agreed HSE plans, including best practices
- Pro-actively recommend and provide advice and solutions on HSE matters to drive and improve HSE culture
- Address all HSE issues directly with the appropriate actions
- Manage the customer's expectations around HSE requirements
- Develop and maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), manuals and relevant documentations that are in conformance with relevant HSE regulations, standards and best industry practices, including OHSAS18001/ISO 45001
- Conduct risk assessment and regular audits of all relevant operations at site to verify site compliance to relevant HSE standards and best practices
- Develop and keep records of all relevant method statements, risk assessment and other documentations that are business and legally required
- Conduct investigation for incident/accident at workplace and propose corrective/preventive measures and record in incident report
- Conduct HSE briefing for new hires including HSE policies, Department Objectives and other related information
- Conduct risk assessment awareness course for CEVA personnel on site
- Update and maintain a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan for CEVA operations on site
- Actively participate in all HSE-related meetings and work-streams
- Attend to and manage internal and external stakeholders enquiries, complaints and feedback on HSE matters with regards to ASM Operations
- Lead review of monthly HSE performance and prepare management reports for review with
- customer with responsibility for any follow up actions
- Implement work improvement initiatives and programs such as 5S, Kaizens, LEAN and SCA program with the goal of achieving CEVA standards of Operational Excellence
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety &
- Health Act and its regulation
- Knowledge of QHSAS18001 Management System
- Knowledge of HSE Auditing skill
- Proficient in MS OfficeComputer literate and familiar with common software
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills with effective interpersonal and people management skills
