Job Description:
- Lead and oversee the overall HSE management for the project site, ensuring compliance with safety, security, health, and environmental regulations.
- Develop a comprehensive Site HSE Execution Plan, including detailed HSE procedures, standards, and control measures.
- Supervise and ensure the effective implementation of all HSE regulations and company policies at the site.
- Participate in the qualification and evaluation of subcontractors and their personnel from an HSE perspective.
- Ensure proper HSE training and education are delivered to all project personnel, promoting a strong safety culture.
- Organize and conduct regular site HSE meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and coordinate improvement actions.
- Plan and execute routine HSE inspections and behavior-based safety observations record non-compliances and follow up on corrective actions.
- Clearly communicate HSE expectations and requirements to all project stakeholders and ensure alignment.
- Collaborate with construction engineers to develop safe work method statements (SWMS) for high-risk activities and ensure proper communication and understanding among workers.
- Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and manage other regulatory interactions related to HSE.
- Facilitate coordination among the client, main contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are met across the board.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze HSE data and key performance indicators (KPIs) implement targeted actions for continuous improvement.
- Lead accident and incident investigations prepare detailed reports and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Carry out other HSE-related tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
