HSE Executive (Oil & Gas)

We are partnering with a reputable organisation seeking an experienced HSE Executive to drive HSE and operational compliance across its business units. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a key role in strengthening safety frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture within operations.

As part of the operations team, you will work closely with stakeholders to implement, maintain, and continuously improve safety and compliance systems aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements (MOM, NEA, SCDF).

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out safety reviews across Business Units to ensure appropriate HSE practices are in place
• Identify gaps in compliance and drive corrective actions through to completion
• Develop, implement, and maintain the HSE Management System
• Support the upkeep of Workplace Safety and Health documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Evaluate method statements and risk assessments to ensure alignment with WSH legislation
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with legal and internal requirements
• Work closely with Business Units to identify potential risks and recommend effective mitigation measures
• Prepare documentation and reports for audits, client assessments, and emergency preparedness activities
• Review existing operational workflows and recommend improvements to align with internal policies
• Coordinate and propose relevant HSE training initiatives for employees
• Support emergency drills and scenario-based exercises
• Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and compliance practices

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in HSE or operational compliance
• Certified Fire Safety Manager and/or Registered WSHO (MOM) is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of MOM, NEA, SCDF regulations and HSE practices
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Management Systems
• Hands-on experience in HSE operations within a dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
