We are seeking a high-caliber Workday Functional Specialist for a 6-month intensive contract. You will act as the primary technical liaison between HR, Technology, and external vendors to drive immediate system enhancements, manage the upcoming Workday release, and ensure data integrity within a regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Release & Feature Enablement: Lead the end-to-end review and implementation of the upcoming Workday Release. Identify, test, and deploy high-impact features relevant to the banking sector.
- Reporting & Governance: Develop and audit Complex, Matrix, and Composite reports to meet urgent regulatory and internal HR requirements.
- Data Migration & EIBs: Execute high-volume data uploads and configuration changes via Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) to support organizational restructuring or data cleansing initiatives.
- Change Management & Documentation: Rapidly produce functional specifications, swimlane process diagrams, and user guides for new system workflows to ensure zero downtime for end-users.
- Tier 2 Support & Triage: Act as the escalated support lead for defects, performing rapid impact analysis and coordinating with external vendors to meet strict SLAs.
- Security Administration: Manage and audit security groups within Workday and MyAccess to ensure compliance with financial data privacy standards.
Requirements
- Experience: 58 years of in-house Workday experience, specifically within Financial Institutions or highly regulated global firms.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Workday HCM and Security Configuration.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science or Human Resource Management with a heavy HRIS focus.
- Mindset: Independent, proactive, and project-ready. You must be able to manage internal change control procedures without oversight.
