About the Role

As an HR Business Partner at Dentsu, you will be at the heart of our business strategy, shaping people initiatives that drive growth, engagement, and a high-performance culture. You will spend most of your time partnering with the business, coaching leaders, supporting workforce planning, and translating priorities into actionable HR solutions.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who is self-driven, mature, confident, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and the ambition to grow into a fully strategic HRBP. You will gain exposure to HR strategy, change initiatives, and business partnering in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Spend significant time partnering directly with business leaders, acting as a coach, consultant, and constructive challenger.
  • Build credibility with leaders and colleagues through professional judgment, clarity, and maturity.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to influence business decisions, anticipate risks, and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Take ownership of HR initiatives, ensuring they are executed with impact and aligned to business goals.

Organizational & Talent Strategy

  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning, ensuring the business has the right capabilities to deliver its strategy.
  • Drive career development and mobility programs that retain top talent and accelerate growth.

Change & Culture Enablement

  • Embed Dentsu's One Team mindset, encouraging collaboration across functions and regions.
  • Act as a change enabler, supporting transformations, reorganizations, and cultural initiatives.

Employee Experience, Engagement & Relations

  • Design and implement programs that strengthen engagement, culture, and employee experience.
  • Provide strategic advice and hands-on management of complex employee relations cases, mitigating risk and maintaining trust.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, fairness, and accountability across the business.

HR Expertise & Execution

  • Apply strong process discipline in all HR initiatives while designing innovative, business-relevant solutions
  • Partner with COEs across Singapore & SEA to deliver HR programs and initiatives that support business priorities
  • Advise on HR policies, processes, and local labor laws to ensure compliance and operational excellence
  • Monitor and evaluate HR initiatives, leveraging insights to continuously improve outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • 6-8 years of HR experience in fast-paced, matrix organizations, ideally with exposure to talent management and HR business partnering.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations (ER) cases, including investigations, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced qualifications such as an MBA or Master's in Organizational Psychology are a plus.
  • Self-driven, street-smart, and ownership-orientedable to navigate ambiguity and deliver results independently.
  • Confident stakeholder management with the ability to influence and coach leaders effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Able to balance process discipline with creativity, designing structured solutions while innovating for business needs.
  • Big-picture perspective, understanding organizational dynamics and acting in the best interests of both the business and the team.
