Position Purpose:
PingPong is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Southeast Asia. In this role, you will play a critical part in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving employee engagement, and supporting the development of a high-performance culture across the region. You'll work closely with leadership teams to provide expert HR support and ensure that PingPong continues to thrive as a dynamic and scalable organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership: Partner closely with management teams and other stakeholders such as Sales Lead, Finance, HR CoE, Risk etc to implement people strategy and supporting HR initiatives within the SEA region.
- Talent Management: Drive talent acquisition, retention, and development initiatives. Help build strong leadership pipelines and ensure the right talent is in place to meet business needs.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Champion employee engagement programs and initiatives that promote a positive organizational culture, ensuring employees are motivated, satisfied, and aligned with PingPong's core values.
- Performance Management: Support the development and execution of performance management systems, ensuring clear communication of goals, feedback, and growth opportunities across all levels.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure that HR practices are in line with local laws and PingPong's global standards. Manage the implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance and fairness across the region.
- Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining team morale during periods of change.
- Mandarin Communication: Work effectively with teams across different regions, particularly in China, and engage with stakeholders in both English and Mandarin.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
- 4 to 5 years of HR experience in a business partner role, preferably in fast-growing, tech-focused, or multinational environments.
- Strong understanding of regional HR practices and local labor laws across Southeast Asia.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to communicate with teams and stakeholders in Southeast Asia and China.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
