Your Role in VT Markets:

As an HR Systems and Data Intern, you will report to the Organizational Development Manager within the Centre of Excellence (COE) sub-department, based in Singapore with potential exposure to our global operations across 7 regions. You will work closely with the OD team, regional HRBPs, and the Quality & Capability Development team to drive data-driven HR initiatives and support our AI transformation journey. This role is critical in establishing robust HR analytics capabilities, automating HR processes, and building the foundation for AI-augmented workforce management as we scale from 480 to 750+ employees by end-2026.

Your ResponsibilitiesAI and Automation Initiatives:
  • Research and test AI tools for HR use cases (resume screening, employee sentiment analysis, predictive analytics)
  • Develop proof-of-concepts for automating repetitive HR processes using no-code/low-code platforms
  • Create documentation and training materials for AI tool adoption across the HR team
  • Support the implementation of AI note-taking solutions for multi-regional meetings on Lark

Systems Integration & Process Improvement:

  • Assist in optimizing HiBob HRIS configurations and workflows across different regions
  • Map current HR processes and identify automation opportunities to reduce administrative burden on HRBPs
  • Support global payroll implementation projects by maintaining data mapping documents
  • Collaborate with IT team on HR systems integration projects

HR Data Management & Analytics:

  • Build and maintain a repository of HR data definitions and calculation methodologies
  • Maintain and enhance HR dashboards tracking key metrics and conduct analysis
  • Conduct regular data audits in HiBob HRIS to ensure data integrity and completeness
Internship Availability
  • Minimum commitment of 3 months, but longer commitment would be preferred (i.e. 6 months).
  • Full-time commitment is preferred, but those who are able to commit to a minimum of 2 working days are welcome to apply.
  • Able to start from January 2026

What Makes You a Great Fit

Job Experience & Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
  • Previous internship experience in HR, data analytics, or business intelligence is advantageous
  • Demonstrated academic or project experience with data analysis and visualization
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.

Technical and Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of HRIS platforms (HiBob experience is a plus) and HR metrics/KPIs
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and enthusiasm for exploring AI applications in HR

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to identify patterns in complex datasets
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated learner with curiosity about emerging HR technologies and willingness to experiment with new tools
