HR Systems Data Analyst (SAP HCM)

About the RoleWe are seeking an HR Systems Data Analyst to support the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of HR master data within an enterprise e-HR environment. This role works closely with HR practitioners and system stakeholders to analyse, maintain, and rectify HR data, support operational issues, and produce reports for governance and authority review. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP HCM ERP or HCM SaaS, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of HR data structures and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with HR practitioners to maintain the integrity of HR master data stored in the e-HR system
- Perform data profiling, data patching, rectifications, and corrections to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Analyse operational issues, investigate root causes of data problems, and propose effective solutions
- Coordinate with data owners to perform sequential deletion and insertion of HR events to preserve data integrity
- Prepare data reports, statistics, and summaries for submission to authorities for review and endorsement
- Support operational activities including end-user support, troubleshooting, and testing
- Maintain and update system and process documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Data Catalogues
RequirementsEducation- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
Technical & Functional Skills- Good knowledge of SAP HCM ERP or HCM SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of HR data design and structures within SAP HCM environments
- Proficiency in SQL programming (preferred)
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions
- Ability to analyse issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
Experience- At least 2 years of working experience in information technology or related roles
- Experience in SAP HCM ERP is preferred
- Experience in operations support, including end-user support, troubleshooting, and system testing
- Prior experience in MINDEF/SAF HR projects is an advantage
