Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION/OBJECTIVE:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Singapore. The HR Specialist will support HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, and a range of HR projects and initiatives. This includes coordinating onboarding and engagement programs, assisting with process improvements, supporting HR reporting and data tracking, and contributing to the execution of people-related projects that enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
  • Coordinate HR campaigns such as engagement surveys, learning initiatives, and wellness programs
  • Assist in employee engagement programs, HR communications, and internal events
  • Provide support for employee queries and escalate issues to the appropriate HR team member when necessary
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, trackers, and presentations as required
  • Track project timelines, update action items, and support stakeholder follow-up
  • Help streamline HR processes through documentation, reporting, and workflow improvements
  • Contribute to HR projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience
  • Support change management activities related to HR transformation projects
  • Partner with HR team members and business stakeholders to implement key people initiatives

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant HR or administrative experience
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong analytical and organization skills with ability to prioritize important projects
  • Highly motivated team player who is adaptable, mature, meticulous, self-driven and customer-service oriented
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to work
  • Maintain confidentiality of AbbVie's data and uphold AbbVie Values.
