Job Description

Human Resources cum Payroll Executive

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding

  • Prepare, issue, and maintain employee records, contracts, letters, and all HR documentation accurately and timely

  • Administer leave management, attendance tracking, and staff benefits in accordance with company policies

  • Act as the point of contact for employee HR-related queries and provide timely support

  • Support recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation

  • Work closely with Operations Managers on manpower planning, staff movements, and ground issues

  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, employment laws, and company HR policies

  • Assist in performance appraisal, probation reviews, and training coordination

  • Handle employee relations matters including grievances, misconduct, and disciplinary actions when required

  • Maintain and update HR systems (e.g. HRIS, attendance systems such as Whyze) to ensure data accuracy

  • Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and analytics for management review

  • Support audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance checks

  • Assist in implementation of HR initiatives and process improvements

Payroll

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all outlets, including overtime, allowances, incentives, and deductions

  • Ensure accurate CPF contributions, IRAS submissions (AIS), and statutory compliance

  • Verify attendance, timesheets, and overtime claims submitted by outlets prior to payroll processing

  • Manage payroll adjustments, claims reimbursements, and ad-hoc payments

  • Liaise with Finance, banks, and payroll vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations

  • Prepare payroll reports, variance analysis, and reconciliation for management review

  • Handle payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly

  • Support year-end payroll activities including IR8A and tax clearance (IR21) where applicable

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information
