About the Team The Data Team at ByteDance is at the heart of building and optimizing the infrastructure platforms that power our products worldwide. Leveraging Bytedance's cutting-edge intelligent technologies, we are devoted to developing innovative products and solutions to shape the future. The work spans both domestic and international markets, supporting a wide range of business areas. By providing innovative technologies and scalable platforms, we enable multiple teams to achieve their goals and drive business growth across ByteDance's diverse product suite. Responsibilities: 1. Build a strong understanding of business operations, team structures, and organizational priorities, and provide people support that aligns with business needs. 2. Serve as a trusted bridge between employees, business leaders, and strategic HRBPs, ensuring effective communication and smooth handling of employee lifecycle matters. 3. Own and manage day-to-day people operations, including but not limited to employee relations, onboarding and probation management, internal transfers, mobility-related processes, contract/entity transfer processes, intern and vendor management, regularization, and exit processes for designated employee groups. 4. Drive SOP design, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, strengthen service quality, and enhance employee experience. 5. Support the development of operational metrics, dashboards, and data reviews to identify patterns, surface organizational issues, and improve service effectiveness. 6. Partner cross-functionally with relevant teams to ensure people programs and operations are compliant with legal, regulatory, tax, and employment requirements in Singapore and Southeast Asia. 7. Contribute to culture building and implementation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 1. 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related functions. 2. Experience in some of the following areas: employee relations, onboarding and probation management, mobility or transfer processes, offboarding, training operations, performance support or culture-related initiatives. 3. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions. 4. Strong analytical and summarization skills, with the ability to identify issues, improve workflows, and translate operational insights into practical actions. 5. Familiarity with employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements in Singapore. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Familiarity with employment practices, labor-related requirements, and employee management considerations across Southeast Asia. 2. Experience in internet, technology, or other fast-growing organizations. 3. Experience in process improvement, SOP design, operational excellence, or workflow optimization. 4. Experience using data, dashboards, or BI tools to monitor service quality and operational efficiency.
