Job Description

HR Partner - Engineering Design and Technical Consultancy MNC

Salary: $12,000 max

5 days work week

Location: Tuas

Job Scope:
Covering SEA (Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand & Taiwan)

People Initiatives -

Implements HR priorities in the countries in line with the HR and People Strategy, covering culture, people, and organization, utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or providing new solutions where appropriate

Provide HR Solutions locally (with support from HR Generalist) -

Partners with managers and employees to understand current issues that can be

supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies

Coaches and advises Managers and employees on the most effective solutions to

resolve issues

Acts as consultant, sparring partner, coach, and facilitator to business leaders

Drive HR Operational Excellence (supported by HR Generalist) -

Ensures that local policies are in place, regularly reviewed and communicated to the employees and the HR related policies are followed and adhered to

Oversee the implementation of all HR processes at the location, ensuring compliance with Group and local processes and guidelines

Monitors relevant local statutory or regulatory requirements and acts accordingly

Ensure the correctness of the Employee Master data, encourages employees and

managers to use Self Service possibilities, including interfaces to third party HR providers (outsourced Services).

Supports continuous improvement of processes that lead to extraordinary customer experience

Ensures that the local payroll processes are running smoothly and accurately

Work closely with other enabling teams including HUB, ensure clear instructions/templates are provided to and being followed by the HUB, maintain active feedback loop for continuous improvement

Labor Relations -

Creates and maintains the local Employee handbook and/or country HR policies, ensures compliance as employer according to legal local requirements

Liaise with employee representatives when needed, supports CBA negotiations, follows through on related obligations

Monitors relevant local statutory or regulatory requirements and acts accordingly

Talent management -

Implements the respective talent management and people development initiatives locally

Partners with business leaders to determine the learning and development approach in their area of responsibilities (e.g. learning requirements, customized and local training)

Monitors different employee indicators (e.g. turnover data) and puts measures in place to support the achievement of optimal levels of attrition across the sites

Talent acquisition (Supported by HUB) -

Partners with Hiring Managers on end-to-end recruitment activities for selected roles

Supports local leaders in capability & workforce planning

Following the Employer Branding guidelines, it ensures that the employer is well represented in the local targeted labor market

Compensation & Benefits -

Represents the requirements of countries and transfers global guidelines

Responsible for country specific allowances, perks, benefits (insured/non-insured) and pension

Supports smooth processing of annual compensation cycle activities in the assigned Area/Region
