Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to support our Singapore operations on a shortterm maternity cover. This role provides independent, endtoend HR support with a strong emphasis on operational delivery, compliance, and daytoday employee support. Given the duration of the contract, the focus will be on execution rather than longterm strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers in the Singapore office.
- Provide timely guidance on HR policies, employment practices, and peoplerelated matters.
- Support line managers on performance discussions, employee concerns, and workforce decisions.
- Offer practical HR advice ensuring compliance with Singapore statutory requirements.
EndtoEnd HR Operations
- Manage the full employee lifecycleincluding recruitment coordination, offers, onboarding, induction, engagement, performance, compensation support, employee relations, and offboardingin consultation and guidance of the regional HR team and COEs.
- Support employee relations matters, including performance management guidance, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling.
- Work on payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with Singapore employment law, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Manage employee benefits and insurance matters, including employee advisory and vendor coordination.
- Support internal or statutory HR audits and ensure documentation readiness.
- Partner with Finance to ensure timely vendor payments.
Office Culture & Engagement
- Coordinate sitelevel engagement initiatives and employee communication activities.
- Support learning and development logistics and ensure timely execution of mandatory training.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with HR team members and COEs on local and regional HR activities.
Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications, skills, and experience.
- 810 years of progressive HR experience, with strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices.
- Proven ability to independently manage endtoend HR operations.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders in a matrixed or multinational environment.
- Strong customer focus, judgment, and problemsolving skills.
- Handson experience in employee engagement, training coordination, and employee relations.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing both highvolume operational work and complex individual cases.
- Positive, collaborative, and cando working style.
