Responsibilites:
- Hiring: Oversee the hiring process, which includes publishing job openings, communicating with employment agencies, vetting applicants, and setting up interviews between hiring managers and applicants. capable of conducting onboarding and induction programs with new hires and engaging in discussions. Information on new hires is documented through the creation of offer letters, personal files, onboarding checklists, and other forms.
- Management of the dorms for migrant workers: In charge of allocating and paying worker dormitory expenses in accordance with project sites. Help with recording worker movements in and out of the hostel, including repatriation, home leave, and transfers. Assist with dorm lease-related tasks, such as monitoring expiration dates, handling lease renewals or terminations, and negotiating rental prices.
- Medical assistance for employees and staff: PCP subscription for holders of WP and SP. Help with the company's Annual Health Screening (AHS) program, including scheduling personnel clinic visits and handling payment.
- Management of general laborers: Handle new hire needs, including work permit applications, bank security bond purchases, and dorm room assignments. Prepare WP renewal and survey forms for wp applications, follow up with project site administrators, make preparations for medical examinations, and buy security bonds.
- Applications for work passes: Applications for new and renewed EP & SP
- Employee Welfare: Engage in team-building exercises, workplace events, and wellness initiatives for staff members.
- creating the company's quarterly eNewsletter and assisting with the career fair and year-end DND function.
- Additional ad hoc tasks as delegated
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in business administration, human resources, or other pertinent fields.
- Three years or more of experience, ideally in the building and construction sector
- Skilled with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experienced with Singaporean payroll (knowledge of EPE and EASYTIME will be beneficial).
- Have exceptional verbal and writing communication abilities.
- The ability to negotiate with stakeholders in the organization, such as government bodies like MOM or training providers.
- Have a thorough understanding of employment laws and a business-minded perspective on the labor process.
- Exercise prudence and tact while handling private information.
- Exhibit strong time-management abilities, outstanding organizational skills, and the capacity to multitask in a hectic setting.
