As we grow, we are looking for a People & Culture leader who can shape the same thoughtful experience internally for our team.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to build, lead, and elevate our people strategy. This role goes beyond traditional HR-you will be instrumental in shaping company culture, supporting business growth, and creating a meaningful employee experience aligned with our design philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

1. People & Culture Development

  • Build and nurture a strong, values-driven company culture
  • Develop employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and team members

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for creative and operational roles
  • Develop structured onboarding programs that reflect Loft.9's brand and ethos
  • Strengthen employer branding and hiring processes

3. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain HR policies, employee records, and documentation

4. Performance & Growth

  • Implement performance management systems
  • Support career development and training initiatives
  • Align team goals with company direction and growth plans

5. Strategic HR Planning

  • Partner with management to forecast hiring needs
  • Contribute to organizational design and team structuring
  • Drive HR initiatives that support business expansion

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in SMEs, creative, or design-related industries
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore HR practices and employment law
  • Proven ability to build HR systems from ground up
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and people-centric mindset
