Job Description

Title: HR Manager (Community Care)

Location: East

About the role

We are partnering with a mission-driven non-profit organisation within the social service sector in Singapore to appoint an HR Manager. This is a hands-on, full-spectrum HR role supporting a close-knit organisation.

As the organisation's trusted HR partner, you will work closely with management and employees across the full employee lifecycle - from talent acquisition and onboarding through performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, compensation, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full spectrum of HR operations and people initiatives across the organisation.
  • Partner closely with management as a trusted HR Business Partner, providing practical advice on people matters, organisational needs and employee issues.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including workforce planning, sourcing, selection, onboarding and talent retention.
  • Drive performance management processes and support managers in developing and engaging their teams.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits, HR policies, employment practices and compliance with relevant employment legislation.
  • Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, empathy and sound judgement.
  • Identify learning and development needs and support initiatives that build employee capability.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and well-being initiatives that strengthen the organisation's culture.
  • Review and enhance HR policies, processes and systems to support organisational effectiveness.
  • Provide HR insights and recommendations to management to support workforce planning and organisational development.
  • Contribute to broader organisational and people-related projects as the organisation continues to grow.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of broad HR experience, with strong exposure across the employee lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior management and advising on people matters.
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment practices and HR compliance.
  • Comfortable working in a small, hands-on organisation, where you will be both strategic and operational.
  • Experience within the social service, healthcare, non-profit or community sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the organisation's people agenda and make a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven environment. With a lean team structure, you will have high visibility with management, broad ownership of HR, and the opportunity to shape people practices and culture across the organisation
