Job Description

Role Overview

The role supports the effective delivery of HR initiatives, operations, and projects across the organisation. Working closely with employees, managers, internal stakeholders, and external partners, the intern will gain hands-on exposure across recruitment, HR systems, policy review, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations. The role is collaborative, detail-oriented, and service-focused, with opportunities to contribute to both ongoing HR activities and projects that enhance employee experience, strengthen HR processes, and support organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage key stages of the recruitment process, from job description review and job posting to CV screening and interview coordination.
  • Maintain recruitment records and facilitate hiring activities.

HRIS & HR Technology

  • Participate in HRIS implementation, including system design, data cleansing, migration and UAT.
  • Conduct testing, identify system or data issues, and contribute to process improvements.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Review HR policies to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with global and local requirements.
  • Research HR practices and regulatory developments to identify areas for policy enhancement.

Employee Engagement & Company Events

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, communications and post-event activities.

HR Operations & Projects

  • Handle day-to-day HR operational and administrative activities.
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Qualification & Skills

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources and an eagerness to learn across different HR functions.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets; familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets is an advantage.
  • Proactive, responsible and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Prior experience with HRIS, recruitment platforms or HR projects is an advantage but not required.
  • Available for a full-time internship of at least 4-6 months.
