Primary Objectives
This role acts as a strategic HR partner to employees and managers, providing expert guidance on all people-related matters. You will support AWWA's mission by delivering both operational HR services and contributing to organisation-wide initiatives that drive talent development and organisational effectiveness. The position encompasses supporting services across multiple programmes within the organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
Act as a bridge between HR and services to align HR strategies with organization goals.
Work with line managers to understand their needs and translate them into effective HR strategies and initiatives.
Talent Acquisition
Responsible for hiring and selection processes which include pre-screening, interviewing, job offer, background check and new hires onboarding
Recruitment Collateral & Employer Branding
Develop and create engaging and persuasive recruitment collateral (e.g., job descriptions, candidate guides, presentations) that effectively showcases the company's culture, values, and the specific roles.
Talent Management
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, while collaborating with managers to ensure staffing needs are met.
Manpower Management
Assist AWWA Services with manpower planning and work with Compensation and Benefits on manpower budget.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure effective talent acquisition.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure HR policies and SOP are updated according to employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
Be the single point of contact for employees and line managers in providing advisory service on employment and HR related matters in accordance with HR policies and MOM guidelines.
Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement to HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing positive employee and service experience
Employee Relations & Engagement
Guide the line managers with employee relations which include performance management, coaching and feedback, training and development and employee discipline and grievances
Job Specifications
Minimum Education / Qualifications
Degree in HRM or equivalent
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
2 years relevant experience in similar role.
Working experience in Human Resources Operations
Knowledge/Skills
In-depth knowledge in Singapore labour law and Employment Act
Good management skills
Proficient in MS office applications
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
