Job Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Payroll Processing
- Manage the entire payroll process for employees across various regions or countries.
- Provide guidance to junior team member involved in payroll operations.
- Provide backup and support for payroll & benefits operations.
Compliance
- Support to ensure that all payroll processes and payments are fully compliant with local and regional employment laws, statutory deductions, and taxation rules.
- Support to ensure timely execution of all relevant compliance activities.
Compensation Administration & Management
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation and benefits strategies.
- Support salary reviews, bonus processing, and performance management programmes.
- Assist in salary benchmarking to maintain competitive and equitable salary structures.
- Manage employee insurance, including renewals and enrolment activities.
- Administer employee
- Support compensation and benefits projects and initiatives as needed.
Data & Analytics
- Perform HR and payroll reporting and data analysis.
- Assist in analysing compensation and benefits data to assess programme effectiveness and monitor market trends.
Data Management
- Ensure accuracy of employee payroll data and maintain up-to-date records in HR and payroll systems.
- Assist to safeguard data integrity across all relevant platforms.
- Reporting
- Prepare and file payroll tax reports as required by statutory authorities.
- Generate detailed reports for internal and external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of group budgetary exercises.
- Audits & Reconciliation
- . Support internal and external audits related to payroll matters.
- . Conduct payroll reconciliations as part of audit and compliance processes.
- Inquiries and Support
- . Resolve employee payroll queries efficiently and provide support regarding compensation and benefits matters.
Others
- Stand-in for admin role when required
- Support on all HR transactional/operations as and when assigned.
- Undertake task/project assigned to achieve Organisational objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in HR or Equivelant
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel i.e. vlookup, pivot table, etc.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Task-Related Competencies
- Experience in performing payroll and documentation
- Taxation submission including working with overseas colleagues
- Experience in production/manufacturing environment is preferred
- Basic employment act knowledge fordifferent countries
- Good understanding of the HR principles and practices
