Job Description

Oversee and process payroll for all employees in a timely manner, including the computation of salaries, allowances, and deductions, as well as wage processing, statutory submissions, and annual/ad hoc tax filings.

Manage employee claims and liaise with relevant government authorities (e.g., levy waivers and related matters).

Support both employees and management by developing, planning, and implementing effective HR policies, procedures, and guidelines across the full HR spectrum.

Analyse manpower allocation, visa quotas, and employee satisfaction to optimise workforce planning.

Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.

Coordinate and manage the repatriation of work permit holders.

Prepare regular and ad hoc payroll and costing reports for management and employees.

Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and policies.

Ensure all required training is conducted so that employees obtain the necessary certifications and licences in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate employee records, including personal details, payroll information, health records, and oversee employee relations and communication.

Position Requirements:

  • Prior experience in HR within the construction industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and labour law requirements in Singapore, particularly for the construction sector.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese to effectively handle queries and concerns from both English- and Mandarin-speaking employees regarding payroll, allowances, deductions, and annual/ad hoc tax matters, as well as other HR-related issues.
  • Proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Full-time position available.
