Job Summary
You will manage HR records, process work pass applications, and handle payroll for workers. You will also coordinate medical outpatient plans, dormitory management, insurance applications, onboarding and offboarding, tax clearance, and general administrative duties to support smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee HR records to support workforce management
- Process work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations to ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for workers to ensure timely salary payments
- Coordinate Primary Care Plan (PCP) for employees medical outpatient matters to facilitate healthcare access
- Manage dormitory check-in/out and resolve related issues to maintain orderly worker accommodation
- Administer work passes and quota to comply with manpower regulations
- Apply for and renew hospital and surgical insurance, company group insurances, and project insurances to maintain coverage
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding processes for migrant workers to ensure smooth transitions
- Prepare tax documents such as IR8A/IR21 and handle clearance procedures to meet statutory requirements
- Manage WICA claims to support workplace injury compensation processes
- Perform general administrative tasks including scanning, photocopying, and filing to support office operations
- Complete other ad-hoc duties assigned by management to meet business needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or main contractor environment
- Bilingual communication skills to effectively engage in a diverse working environment
- Knowledge of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations to ensure compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily tasks
- Experience using payroll software (Info-Tech) to accurately process salaries
- Ability to start work immediately or within a short notice period
