Job Description
Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive HR support and advisory to management and employees, with a strong focus on employee relations, disciplinary matters, workplace investigations, labour law compliance, and RBA/social compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations and disciplinary matters, including misconduct, attendance, performance, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
- Conduct workplace investigations, including gathering facts and evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and preparing investigation reports.
- Prepare and manage HR and disciplinary documentation, including warning letters, suspension letters, termination letters, and other related correspondence.
- Advise management and department heads on fair, consistent, and appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and Singapore employment regulations.
- Plan, organise, and execute monthly employee welfare and engagement activities to promote employee well-being and a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure HR practices and processes comply with Singapore labour laws, MOM requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain strong knowledge of RBA Code of Conduct, social compliance requirements, and workplace standards.
- Support RBA and social compliance audits, including preparation, documentation, investigations, and follow-up on corrective action plans.
- Handle employee grievances, complaints, and workplace conflicts professionally and confidentially.
- Partner closely with department managers and operational teams to resolve employee-related matters effectively.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and employee initiatives.
- Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM requirements, and applicable labour regulations.
- Strong knowledge of the RBA Code of Conduct, social compliance, and workplace standards.
- Proven experience handling employee relations, disciplinary cases, grievances, and workplace investigations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage confidential and sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Willing and able to provide HR support outside normal working hours, including weekends, when required by operational needs.
