Our client is currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner – Manager to support business leaders in driving people strategies and delivering an exceptional employee experience. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving people challenges, and contributing to business success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will support a large and diverse workforce across multiple locations in Singapore, requiring a strong ability to balance strategic initiatives with operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Business Partnering
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce priorities and translate them into practical HR initiatives.
- Provide strategic and operational HR support aligned with business objectives across a high-volume employee population.
- Take ownership of HR initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organization while effectively managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Talent Management
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle for a large workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, retention, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure hiring needs are met efficiently while maintaining a strong talent pipeline.
- Support succession planning and contribute to leadership and talent development initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead and support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate engagement surveys, analyse results, and partner with leaders to implement meaningful action plans.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
Employee Relations & HR Compliance
- Advise managers on employee relations matters and provide practical guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies while maintaining compliance with Singapore employment legislation.
- Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with HR Centres of Excellence and shared services teams to deliver seamless HR support.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across frontline and corporate functions.
- Influence and communicate effectively with leaders to drive alignment and positive people outcomes.
HR Operations & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, organizational charts, and people metrics for informed decision-making.
- Monitor key HR indicators to identify trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits and accurate HR record management.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead or contribute to HR transformation initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes, improve operational efficiency, and elevate the employee experience.
- Proactively gather stakeholder feedback to continuously improve HR service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree-qualified with at least 8 years of broad HR experience, including exposure to Employee Relations, and other core HR functions.
- Proven experience supporting a large, high-volume workforce within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Professional HR certification (e.g. IHRP) will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver practical HR solutions.
- Hands-on, resilient, and execution-focused with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in an environment that requires adaptability, agility, and a business-first mindset.
