HR Business Partner (Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical)

About:

This role supports a team of consultants involved in digital transformation, automation and validation projects within the pharmaceutical sector.

This is a standalone HR role, requiring both strategic HR partnership and operational execution in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders on workforce planning and organisational development.

• Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement, culture and performance initiatives.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for consultants and leadership roles.

• Support onboarding and integration of new hires into project teams.

• Work with leadership on manpower planning aligned with project pipeline and client demand.

• Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.

• Support performance management processes and talent development initiatives.

• Facilitate learning and upskilling programmes relevant to the life sciences sector.

• Partner with leadership on succession planning and retention strategies.

• Maintain HR policies, employment contracts and employee documentation.

• Administer employee benefits and HR operational processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of HR Business Partnering or generalist HR experience

• Prior experience in consulting, IT services, engineering, or life sciences industry is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Comfortable working independently in a standalone HR role
