Savills Singapore is seeking a commercially grounded HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Property Management (PM) business. This role sits at the intersection of HR Operations, workforce management, and business partnering, working closely with line managers and HR Centres of Excellence (COEs) to deliver practical, scalable people solutions.
The HRBP will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence across frontline workforce segments, while aligning HR practices with business growth, service delivery standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Workforce Support
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to Property Management business leaders and site managers
- Support manpower planning, workforce deployment, and staffing optimisation across managed sites
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
- Translate business needs into actionable HR interventions
HR Operations & Execution
- Drive consistent execution of core HR processes: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits
- Ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations (e.g., Ministry of Manpower guidelines)
- Oversee documentation, audits, and HR governance practices across portfolios
- Partner HR Ops team to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Employee Relations & Staff Management
- Manage day-to-day employee relations issues across frontline workforce (technicians, site staff, executives)
- Support grievance handling, investigations, and resolution with fairness and consistency
- Drive engagement initiatives tailored to dispersed and operationally intensive workforce
Collaboration with HR COEs
- Work closely with COEs (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards) to:
- Support hiring needs and workforce ramp-up
- Facilitate training and capability-building programmes
- Ensure competitive and equitable reward practices
- Provide ground feedback to refine HR policies and programmes
Performance & Culture
- Support performance management cycles and calibration processes
- Reinforce Savills values and culture across newly integrated or acquired entities
- Drive adoption of HR initiatives at the operational level
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 5-8 years of HR experience, preferably in a business partnering or HR generalist role
- Prior exposure to operations-heavy environments (e.g., property management, facilities management, logistics, hospitality) is strongly preferred
- Strong grounding in Singapore labour laws and HR compliance
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations and stakeholder engagement
Capabilities
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach with strong execution discipline
- Ability to operate in a decentralised, site-based environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence to engage frontline staff and senior managers
- Comfortable working across both strategic and operational HR matters
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
- HR certifications (e.g., IHRP) are an advantage
