Dolce&Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional opportunity within its in-house Beauty Division, for a HR Business Partner, APAC based in Singapore.
This role reports to the Dolce & Gabbana Beauty Managing Director APAC and is responsible to provide compliant and efficient HR operations to the business, advising and executing on HR issues across the whole employee life-cycle, as well as partnering with the APAC senior leadership to build the company as we trailblaze ahead with continued growth plans. It also aligns with and supports the HQ Global HR function in Milan in HR projects that are rolled out to the APAC region. You will have an analytical approach, a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret data trends and themes.
The HRBP will work closely with all the APAC regional work teams. It is a key role in a high-growth environment. How you will contribute
- Manage and administer all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, immigration, payroll, leave, compensation, and employee benefits
- Deliver efficient and compliant HR operations in a timely manner and with the highest degree of accuracy
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, fostering an inclusive, vibrant and high-performance work environment.
- Interact closely with both Beauty APAC and HQ Global HR teams and create tight-knit processes
- Be accountable for HR processes such as talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, culture and engagement initiatives that drive a high-performing team
- Work with Beauty APAC leadership across the business on performance management, organizational design, rewards and workforce planning. This includes providing guidance to managers on performance improvement plans, career development initiatives and disciplinary actions where applicable.
- Identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate learning initiatives
- Establish a trusted partnership with the business in Beauty APAC and coach and advise people managers on the full spectrum of employee relations issues
- Design new policies in line with HQ guidelines/principles and deliver on business-critical HR-related projects
- Review and maintain employee handbook and HR policies in line with the employment legislations and statutory requirements in Singapore and in line with HQ guidelines.
- Provide oversight and guidance to the Office Administration Assistant
Key requirements & Competencies
- Degree-qualified with additional professional HR qualifications will be ideal
- Competent in full spectrum of HR duties and responsibilities with a minimum of 6 years relevant HRBP experience
- HR experience leading initiatives, preferably in luxury brands in the Beauty industry
- Solid labor law experience in Singapore is mandatory; knowledge of employment legislations in other APAC markets is ideal
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and maturity in communicating with all levels of staff
- Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders
- A good balance between planning and executing; you will need to be hands-on in the daily HR routines
- Able to leverage data to make informed decisions
- Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
- Self-motivated, organized, accurate, confident, authentic, results-orientated, open-minded, enthusiastic and energetic
- Highly adaptable with a start-up mentality; at ease working with ambiguity and within a lean support structure, and totally willing to learn new things including getting out of the comfort zone
