Role Summary
We are looking for a junior HR Assistant who enjoys planning activities, using digital tools, and contributing to an engaging and positive workplace culture.
You will support both employee engagement initiatives and HR operations while working closely with the Senior HR Manager. This position focuses more on fun, digital engagement, and coordination rather than heavy HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. People Engagement & Activities Support (Primary Focus)
- Assist in planning and organising staff activities such as team-bonding, wellness events, festive celebrations, appreciation days, etc.
- Use digital tools like Microsoft Forms, Kahoot, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar platforms to create quizzes, polls, posters, feedback forms, and event materials.
- Help coordinate townhalls, staff briefings, and internal engagement campaigns.
- Assist in collecting and summarising staff feedback and engagement insights.
2. Digital Tools & Simple Dashboards
- Create simple surveys and feedback forms.
- Support basic data tracking in Excel (training will be provided).
- Help prepare simple reports or dashboards for HR initiatives.
3. Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Support onboarding arrangements such as preparing welcome packs, setting up orientation schedules, and guiding new hires on HR documents.
- Ensure new hires feel welcomed and supported on their first day.
4. General HR Support
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HRIS with guidance.
- Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating recruitment logistics.
- Help answer basic HR-related queries from staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Support administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome 0-2 years of experience in HR or event coordination will be an advantage.
- Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Comfortable using digital tools such as Microsoft Forms, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Kahoot, etc.
- Creative, energetic, and enjoys organising events and people-related activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills approachable and positive.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and willing to learn HR processes.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work professionally.
