Job Summary
The Human Resource Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department, assisting with day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, employee records, payroll coordination, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding coordination
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
- Support payroll preparation, attendance tracking, and leave management
- Assist with work pass applications, renewals, and related documentation (if applicable)
- Handle employee enquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and internal communications
- Coordinate training programs, staff meetings, and HR-related events
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company regulations
- Perform general administrative duties and other HR tasks as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant HR or administrative experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with HR processes, payroll systems, and employment regulations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
